10:00-1:30 RECYCLE PERSONAL DOCUMENTS WITH SHRED-IT Do you have an accumulation of old bank statements, tax records and other information too sensitive to simply throw in the trash? Relief is on the way! On Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the same day and time as the Spring Plant Sale, and the day before Earth Day, Milner Gardens is having a SHREDDING FUNDRAISER in its upper parking lot. Thanks to the generous support of SHRED-IT, a professional shredding company servicing many of Oceanside’s banks and businesses, you can have your personal documents destroyed in front of you for the suggested donation of $5.00 per banker’s box (15 x 12 x 10 inches). What a wonderful way to recycle your sensitive paperwork AND support Milner Gardens and Woodland with your donation! For non-members, a suggested additional donation of $3.00 per adult will give you entrance to the Gardens and the plant sale of Milner-grown plants. One hundred percent of the donations received will go to support the preservation of this wonderful heritage woodland garden and its forest area. Please note that your papers should be in a box or carton, not in plastic bags. There will be a trolley available to help carry the boxes/cartons to the shredding truck.
